Is PDFFelix really free with no limits?
Yes. There are no accounts, daily caps or watermarks. The only limit is your device’s memory — very large files (hundreds of MB) may be slow on phones.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Every tool runs inside your browser. Your files never leave your device and are cleared when you close or reload the page.
Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
Yes. Open Edit PDF, choose Edit text and click any line or table cell. PDFFelix matches the font, size, color and background.
Can I type in Arabic and other languages?
Yes. You can add or correct text in Arabic and Urdu (right-to-left), Hindi, Chinese, Russian and more. It is saved as real, selectable text, with Arabic letters joined correctly. The whole site is available in 10 languages.
Will PDF to Word keep my layout?
Yes. “Exact layout” places every paragraph, heading and table cell where it was, with the same font, size and color, as editable text.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. PDFFelix works in Safari on iPhone and iPad and in Chrome on Android. After processing, tap Download — or Share to save to Files or send it.
What happens if I reload the page by mistake?
If you have work in progress, PDFFelix asks you to confirm before the page reloads, so you don’t lose files or edits by accident.
Can it read scanned documents?
Scanned pages are pictures of text, so there is no text to edit or convert. The PDF inspector tells you whether a file is scanned.

Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile.
